Finally, an update

So its been like, ages since I posted anything, and darn it, its time to start again. I occasionally get an email through the contact form on the site, and since its not that frequently its quite exciting. For me anyway. Two of these are worth sharing though as they relates directly to Binaural Beats.

Psyche-Sonics

Its a project started on ideablob, which is "where entrepreneurs and small business owners can share and grow their business ideas – and have a chance to win $10,000 towards fulfilling them." With enough votes and support they can get $10k funding for their idea.

"Psyche Sonics is multi-disciplinary research campaign investigating the potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness. We are fusing modern technology with core shamanic and spiritual techniques to ignite mass transformation in consciousness. We use brainwave entrainment, electro-magnetic field generation, biofeedback, herbology, gemstones, shamanism, breathwork and sensory deprivation to train participants in states of heightened awareness. Our goal is to act as a catalyst for positive cultural change in this world through focused, intentional interaction with the kinetic power of consciousness."

Seems like quite a broad and ambitious task, but the intention is definitely good. Hopefully it could shed some light on the effectiveness of binaural beats and provide more research into it.

This is community based site for discussion, news and links about binaural beats. Its not an exhaustive list, but you can find some free mp3's to download and a forum where you can discuss the topic.
