A large part of the exploration for Sound On Mind is to look a meditation music specficially. The music that is available for download here is written to assist the listener with meditation. Initially this page will have tracks that I have written, but as I find people willing to freely share the music they have done, and its sound good, it will be uploaded here too.
Sound On Mind early tracks
The first tracks here were part of the early Sound on Mind experiments with binaural beats. Its a 5-7 minute musical piece followed by 10 mins of ambient sound with the binaural beat. The idea was that the first part of the song will focus your attention and slowly still your mind. As the song fades you are left with only a soothing ambient sound and the binaural beat which should assist with meditation. Does it work? I think so but you can download the files and try it yourself. If you do, please let me know.
